Sayari Cyber collects personal information through this website only so that we
can respond to your enquiry and deliver work you have asked us to do. This notice
explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, start a brief, request a health check or book training,
we collect the name, organisation, email address, telephone number and message you
give us, together with any file you choose to attach.
We also record which page the enquiry came from and any campaign parameter in the
link you followed, so we can tell which parts of this site are useful. We store a
one-way hash of your IP address in order to rate-limit form submissions. We do not
store the address itself.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to prepare a quote, to deliver and support work you have engaged
us for, and to meet our own tax and record-keeping obligations. We rely on your
consent, which is recorded at the moment you submit a form, and on the legitimate
interest of responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Who sees it
Sayari Cyber staff working on your enquiry. Enquiries reach a shared team inbox
rather than one person's personal address. We do not sell personal information and
we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for two years and then deleted.
Records relating to work we have delivered are kept for as long as tax and
contractual obligations require.
The client portal
If you hold a client portal account, we additionally hold the projects, invoices,
payments and documents relating to your organisation. Portal data is visible only
to people your organisation has asked us to give accounts to, and to Sayari Cyber
staff working on your account.
Cookies
This site sets a session cookie and a CSRF cookie, both of which are necessary for
forms and for the client portal to work. We do not set advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act you may ask us for a copy of the personal
information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where
we are not required to keep it. Write to info@sayaricyber.co.ke and we will
respond within the statutory period.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the date below will change
with it.
